September Light

On the first day of September I went for a walk to revel in the early autumn light. The mellow sun illuminated the path as it led into the Wood.

Deep in the valley, an abundance of fruit clustered among the twigs, and leaves glistened green-gold.

A secret lane wound between berry-laden trees.

Looking back I saw the sun transforming the edge of the grassy bank to gleaming bronze.

Along the edge of the silent Wood, the fields stretched in tranquillity beneath peach coloured skies.

Thank you Malyss, glad you like the September light! It's lovely and stormy today, with alternating sunshine and showers plus rainbows too.

You have a softens to your photos that are totally enchanting. One feels that part of summer is still present, but the change is slowly, but pleasantly taking place. Nature seems to be at peace.

Thank you RuneE. This is exactly how I feel about this time of year, there is a peaceful, magical atmosphere and a delicious slowness in which one can appreciate all the subtle changes in nature.
