Revisiting blogland - and a very special place!

Cleveland Hills from Grey Towers Ingrid Sylvestre North East artist

Hello again, Blogland!

I'm amazed that it is nearly a year since my last post. Suddenly lots of unexpected but welcome creative projects and work cropped up, and I decided to stop blogging completely for a while. Blogging is a bit like eating chocolate for me - either all or nothing!

It has been an amazing year, and one of the best aspects has been re-visiting a very special place. I spoke about it in a post last Autumn, and this year I've been able to spend a lot of time appreciating it's wonderful environment while working on creative projects.

So happy to see you posting again!!! I said it before and I'll say it again, your Cleveland is much more scenic than ours! I've been homesick for England lately which makes no sense since I'm not from there!!

Hello Monica and thank you! You should come over to England for a holiday some time - there are so many beautiful gardens to visit too.

I'm so happy that you have returned, Ingrid. In the meantime, you have surrounded yourself with beauty: conterminous plots of land, gentle hillocks, sun and sky.

Thank you Prospero! It's good to be back. And thank you for another new word - 'conterminous' - just looked it up in the dictionary - what a lovely word.

Hi Monica. Good to see you back again.
What beautiful scenery and images in your previous posting. I would love to walk along the paths.
The sun shining through the leaves looks so pretty. I love crisp sunny days and the clear blue skies this time of the year.

I am so sorry I know Monica is not your name. I am having a "Duh" day. Getting old and forgetful! LOL!

I'm always forgetting people's names!
