Sylvan Mystery revealed!

Yes - my vision of the enchanted forest was in a pan of chocolate sauce!

I was astounded when I noticed it - my companions were highly amused ...

So, the next time you are in a kitchen - behold! There may be a whole world of mystery beyond the culinary delights ...

Thank you everyone for your comments and suggestions!

(NB: For those who are interested in Photoshop, I straightened up the curve of the pan on the first picture, and on both the images darkened the colours using the adjust highlights feature.)

Oh how funny, it was chocolate, not mud! I'll keep my eyes open in the kitchen for mysterious cacti growing in the food.

Do take photos and post them on your blog if you find any, Diane!

It's the third love of my life, Prospero - Trees, Woods and chocolate! :)

Cool--never would have guessed that. But another mystery remains: what was the chocolate sauce used with?!?!?! :)

I'll never look at my food the same way anymore!Ü
I still see the wolf, is there any alcohol in your chocolate?..:-))

?!?!?! Monica, the chocolate sauce was used with the most scrumptious dessert! Two waffles, lightly toasted and topped with very generous scoops of vanilla ice-cream. The chocolate sauce was then poured (in vast quantities!) over the top, and the artistic arrangement was completed with cream and a sprinkling of chocolate powder.

Yum!

There is no alcohol in the chocolate sauce, Malyss! Plenty of calories, no doubt and lots of happiness!

I can see some horses grazing in the field beyond the trees now!

The dessert is all eaten, PERBS! But I will take a photo next time ...

(All this is making me hungry - I've already had two cinnamon pastries and two slices of toast!)

Ahhh - but now I've been pondering for quite a while how on earth you managed to get chocolate up the wall on that pot in such a particular way :)

Phoenix C. said...

It was not my pan, Bim! I just noticed and took the photos, much to everyone's amusement!!

There are two Coloradan benches waiting for you in my latest post! ;-) P.S. Your choccie creation indeed sounds yummy.

Phoenix C. said...

I shall come across and see these benches, Monica!

The choccie creation was not mine, but certainly yummy!

I would never have guessed in a million years! What a surprise, and definitely an interesting take on new scenes. The dribbles do look just like a forest.

I was looking for inspiration in my pizza this evening, but couldn't see anything other than olives and cheese, Barbara!
